Gracefully handle low-battery warning while playing

My normal use of the player is it sitting on the passenger seat of my car with the screen off (to save the battery) patched into the radio. Today, the Z started complaining about the battery being low at some point, but I couldn't tell. Can Quasar detect this and beep or something? Maybe it could wait until the current song is done, then play a short mp3 that announces what's up, then stop playing. Watching a video wouldn't require any notification because you're obviously already watching the screen. Surely you could sample an appropriate Bender witticism to use as the warning. :)
